#8 Robert Shaw – Launching, Prince Edward Island,

(i realize that this is not politically correct)

It took 16 years for the catholic church to curse people in the reformation.

Did it work was it successful–?
“To curse people” … WHEW, do you ever have THAT wrong!

I assume your speaking here of the Catholic Church & the 16th Century Council of TRENT {1545-1563}

 1. First of all the RCC has taught long before the Protestant revolution” “Love the sinner BUT Hate the sin,” and this same teaching continues even to today and the future as well.
 2. While TRENT did re-clarify the TEACHINGS of the RCC, the RCC did not wait until TRENT to express Her grave sorrow at the “Protestant Reformation” which more accurately ought to be termed a “revolution”, { as that was its intent} and to refute the great many VERY human innovations designed to actually compete with God’s One Tue Church, as verified both in secular history and the bible itself. That flowed through it.

For example: Mt 10:1- 8

Mt, 16:15-19 “[15] He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
[16] Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
[17] And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jona! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. [18] And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it. [19] I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

John 17:17-20 “[1] And he called to him his twelve disciples and GAVE THEM authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every infirmity. [2] The names of the twelve apostles are these FIRST Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zeb’edee, and John his brother; [3] Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; [4] Simon the Cananaean, and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him. [5] These twelve Jesus sent out, charging THEM, “Go nowhere among the Gentiles, and enter no town of the Samaritans, [6] but go {YOU} rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. [7] And preach as YOU go, saying, `The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ [8] Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying, give without pay.”

Mt 28:18-20 “[18] And Jesus came and said to THEM, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. [19] {YOU} Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all that I have commanded YOU; and lo, I am with YOU always, to the close of the age.”

John 6: 47-59 “[47] Truly, truly, I say to YOU, he who believes has eternal life.
[48] I am the bread of life. [49] Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. [50] This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat of it and not die. [51] I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh.” [52] The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” [53] So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; [54] he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. [55] For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. [56] He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. {WHICH IS PRECISLY WHAT TAKES PLACE IN CATHOLIC HOLY COMMUNION} [57] As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me. [58] This is the bread which came down from heaven, not such as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live forever.”

John 20:19-23 “[19] On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” [20] When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. [21] Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.” [22] And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. [23] If YOU forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if YOU retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

So now A question for you:

IF YOU choose not to believe these clearly worded teachings, WHY do you think they even appear in the bible?

 1. Your reference to the RCC cursing I presume are a reference to the Cannons issued by TRENT and their anathemas? That dear friend is certainly NOT “cursing”

Correctly understood they are only teachings; teachings that the RCC is obligated to share based on Matthew 28:19-20. There is no condemnation intended EXCEPT that which is self-selected by denial of these God commanded truths.

God CAN’T send anyone to hell, NOR can His Catholic Church. … Hell is a personal choice, as is heaven that only WE can make AND God affirms.
were there signs following ? as in mark 16:15-20?

Mark 16:16-20 New King James Version (NKJV)

16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
The Key and unheeded; not understood {see my earlier lengthy comments about WHY this is condition in my post to “Benasinneru2” also posted today} centers around the word “believes” {Which is NOT synonymous with “invent to compete with LONG established Faith and Moral truths}

“To believe is to in humility accept the TRUTH which HAS to be singular per defined issue and can be nothing else. Many of the Protestant {which actually means to PROTEST!} faith positions such as:

One God; One and only One set of Faith beliefs and One and Only One TRUE Church {Jesus “MY Church singular” … Mt 16:18; Yahweh “My Chosen People” …. Exodus 6:7

Such as the REAL Presence: Mt 26, Mk, 14, Lk, 22, John 6 and Paul 1st Cor.11

Such as Sacramental Confession as proven biblically and historically established arlier

Such as the Seven Sacraments ALL instituted by Jesus Christ {explicitly or implicitly}

Unbelief objectively and biblically actually COMPETE with the desires of Jesus Christ our God.

THAT my friend is hardly a solid foundation for professed “belief.”
17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 they[a] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

After all it was through that authority that the Council of Trent declared:

125 council of trent 125 anathema’s
the Catholic Church puts curses on people. Popes and bishops have tried to damn people to hell.

No other group — not even Satanists — tries to consign people to hell.
WOW! Are you UNDER-INFORMED!

 1. The Catholic Church neither condemns, NOR sends anyone to Hell. THAT dear friend is a PERSONAL freely made choice.
 2. The RCC does however express what constitutes a Mortal sin AND the means and method for all sin-forgiveness.  Also covered earlier. AND She does this as commanded BY GOD. Also covered in detail earlier.

1 John 5: 10 & 18-20 “[10] He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne to his Son.  …

Mt. 28: 19-20  19 {YOU} “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded YOU; and lo, I am with YOU always, to the close of the age

My friend IF you actually comprehend fully & correctly what you talked about, it would be slanderous! BUT your uttering are formed in ignorance; only speculation and subjective wishing. Nothing more.
Only the Catholic Church does that. And it is done at the highest level — popes, cardinals, and bishops.

Some Satanists and voodoo practitioners try to persuade people to make pacts with the devil.

If the people decide to make a pact with the devil, it is voluntary. It is their decision — not something forced on them by other people.
WOW, and you consider yourself an Actual Christian?  …  I seem to recall the Bible teaching us cf. “They will know us by our LOVE?”
yes the catholic confession system, is designed for the carnal catholic, who is not spiritually born again, and functions wiwith the power and presence of the Holy Spirit
My friend your lack of right understanding is showing. READ if you will my objective evidence of what Jesus who is GOD COMMNDS, DEMANDS AND DESIRES as shared earlier.

John 5: 43-48[43] You have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thy enemy. [44] But I say to you, Love your enemies: do good to them that hate you: and pray for them that persecute and calumniate you:[45] That you may be the children of your Father who is in heaven, who maketh his sun to rise upon the good, and bad, and raineth upon the just and the unjust. [46] For if you love them that love you, what reward shall you have? do not even the publicans this? [47] And if you salute your brethren only, what do you more? do not also the heathens this? [48] Be you therefore perfect, as also your heavenly Father is perfect.”
As Saint Paul said we are all called to the ministry of reconciliation

2 Corinthians 5:11-21 – The Ministry of Reconciliation –

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. … 2 Corinthians 5:17 Or Christ, that person is a new creation.

and yes we all can Loose the power of the Holy Spirit into people’s lives with the 9+ gifts of the Kingdom that changes peoples lives.

1 cor 14:25

1 Corinthians 14:25 NKJV – And thus the secrets of his heart are …

And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you.
My friend have you ever been exposed to the One Infallible Rule for right understanding of the Bible? Which BTW is a Catholic Book.

Never Ever; can, may or DOES

One verse, passage or teaching have the power or authority to

Invalidate, make void or override another

Verse, passage or teaching:

Were this even the slightest possibility;[it’s NOT!] it would render the entire Bible useless to teach or lean Christ Faith”

2Peter 1: 19-21

And we have the more firm prophetical word: whereunto you do well to attend, as to a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: [20] Understanding this first, that no prophecy of scripture is made by private interpretation. [21] For prophecy came not by the will of man at any time: but the holy men of God spoke, inspired by the Holy Ghost.

[Douay bible explanation]

[20] No prophecy of scripture is made by private interpretation: This shews plainly that the scriptures are not to be expounded  any one’s private judgment or private spirit, because every part of the holy scriptures were written by men inspired by the Holy Ghost, and declared as such by the Church; therefore they are not to be interpreted but by the Spirit of God, which he hath left, and promised to remain with his Church to guide her in all truth to the end of the world. Some may tell us, that many of our divines interpret the scriptures: they may do so, but they do it always with a submission to the judgment of the Church, and not otherwise. End Quotes

Mt 7:21] “Whenever something is good it does not depend on us getting our way, but on God getting His way, and whether we do God’s Will depends on us [humbly] loving God. Moreover to love God we must [actually] know God, [not just know OF God].” Bread of Life booklet January 9, 2016”[

 2nd. Peter 3: 14-18

“Therefore, beloved, since you wait for these, be zealous to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. And count the forbearance of our Lord as salvation. So also our beloved brother Paul wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, speaking of this as he does in all his letters. There are some things in them hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other scriptures. You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, beware lest you be carried away with the error of lawless men and lose your own stability. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen”

John.20 Verses 20 to 23“On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

Retired Pope Benedict XVI had this to share about TRUTH …

“There cannot be your truth and my truth, or there would be NO truth” …. I have supported my points with evidence, now you get to choose truth if your able to do so?
1 Corinthians 12:1–31 –

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be uninformed. You know that when you were pagans you were led astray to mute…

the catholic priest confession system is designed for babies immature catholics.

as saint Paul said

The Church and Its Leaders

3 Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly—mere infants in Christ.

2 I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready.

3 You are still worldly.
Friend IF this were the objective-provable truth {objectively and biblically, and it is NOT!}, you’d have some credibility, but as you have accepted to believe mortal men NOT your God and the One Church and Faith that God desired and instituted.

1John.1 Verses 8 to 10 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”

1John.5 Verses 16 to 17 “If any one sees his brother committing what is not a mortal sin, he will ask, and God will give him life for those whose sin is not mortal. There is sin which is mortal; I do not say that one is to pray for that. All wrongdoing is sin,  but there is sin which is not mortal.

Heb.5 Verses 1 to 6 “For every high priest chosen from among men is appointed to act on behalf of men in relation to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sinsHe can deal gently with the ignorant and wayward, since he himself is beset with weakness. Because of this he is bound to offer sacrifice for his own sins as well as for those of the people. And one does not take the honor upon himself, but he is called by God, just as Aaron was.”

John.15: 16 “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide; so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.”

So my friend, in closing I will ask again; WHY do you suppose these teaching from GOD even appear in the bible if they are NOT His Truth?

May God Bless you & lead you to HIS Truths,

Patrick
