When God beckons; it’s prudent to heed the call

43 “pagan” questions with Catholic answers; {5 at a time}

part 6
26. When God will meet us?
On earth, the only place one can REALLY meet God is in Catholic and Orthodox churches. But I think you may be asking about the “FOUR LAST THINGS”:  death, judgment; heaven or hell.Which is determined by our life-choices; and God ONLY affirms what we ourselves have chosen. So in that context it will take place the very second one dies and the Soul separates from the earthly body.
27. How many Heavens are there?
Just One; but one’s  relation to God varies on how holy and perfect our life’s have been lived. The idea that there are multiple heaven is also a fable.

Deuteronomy 18:13 “Thou shalt be perfect, and without spot before the Lord thy God

 1. 1st. Peter 1: 16 “Because it is written: You shall be holy, for I am holy”
28. Anybody guarding the Heaven?[?QUOTE]

Not in the sense that you’re asking.  However as I just indicated; it is our life choices that determine where we end up for Eternity. There ARE two Judgments:

The Immediate Judgment; when we die and the Soul and body are separated. This judgment remains final; but it is a PRIVATE hearing between us and God.

The Second Judgment; called the “Final Judgment” takes place at the end of the world and is PUBLIC. Everyone will KNOW everyone’s judgment; sins and good works. This is the one the bible speaks of as a “new earth”. After this our bodies will be reunited with our Souls.

There is a “book of life” [a fictional book to make a Moral point.] GOD KNOWS.

       Apocalypse (Revelation) 3:5

“He that shall overcome, shall thus be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”

 Apocalypse (Revelation) 20:15

“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was cast into the pool of fire”

 Apocalypse (Revelation)  21:27

“There shall not enter into it any thing defiled, or that worketh abomination or maketh a lie, but they that are written in the book of life of the Lamb.”

 Matthew 25:32

And all nations shall be gathered together before him, and he shall separate them one from another, as the shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats
29. How to go to Heaven?
It seems you’ve been thinking about this for a while, based on your questions. That’s GOOD! This question requires a small book. Too much to cover here in its entirety. So here I’ll just share the basic elements:

 Isaiah 43: verses 7 & 21explain God’s expatiations for His Created Humanity

[7]  And every one that calleth upon my name, I have created him for my glory, I have formed him, and made him. & [21] This people have I formed for myself, [THAT] they shall shew forth my praise”

So to the degree that one 1. Endeavors 2. Succeeds  3. Complies  with WHAT GOD WANTS; determines where we end up for Eternity. So WHAT DOES GOD WANT?

Well it differs under the Old Testament; Old Covenant times and what we are now under; the New Covenant’ and GRACE.

Jer.31: 31“Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah,”

2Cor.3: 6“who has made us competent to be ministers of anew covenant, not in a written code but in the Spirit; for the written code kills, but the Spirit gives life“.

Heb.8: 8, 13 ” For he finds fault with them when he says: “The days will come, says the Lord,

when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah; In speaking of a new covenant he treats the first as obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.” The New does NOT void the Old; but DOES Supersede

and override it [PJM]

Heb.9: 5“Therefore he is the mediator of anew covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred which redeems them from the transgressions under the first covenant“.

Heb.12” 24“and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks more graciously than the blood of Abel.”

So here are the Basic MINIMUM requirements: which are marginally acceptable to God

 Apocalypse (Revelation) 3:16

But because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold, not hot, I will begin to vomit thee out of my mouthGOD WANTS MORE THAN THE MINIMUM!

To Know that Jesus Christ is thee Lord- God [singular; means the Blessed Trinity]

 1. Repent [ Mark 1: 15 ] and Convert [ Acts 3:26  ]Believe the entire Gospel[Lev.18:5; Mt. 4:4]
 2. The Know ALL that the Lord commands, mandates and prescribes as necessary
 3. Be a Sacramentally  Baptized Christian [John 3:5]
 4. Know and KEEP all of the ten Commandments [Mt. 19:17] [these ARE 10 CATAGORIES of sins, NOT “thee 10 possible sins” [See Mt. 16:15-19]
 5. To not die with unconfessed and unforgiven Mortal sins [1 John1 ;7-8; 1 John 5: 16-17 & John 20:19-23*]
 6. Perform frequent works of charity [James chapter 2]

I’LL STOP HERE AS [7] IS THE “perfect, full and or complete number” But One Has to know what God taught and then do it.

 30. Where is Hell?

Heaven, Hell and Purgatory ALL exist; and are all biblically grounded. “Where” it is I don’t know. I have a Lesson on “the Saint who SAW Hell” and the bible is full of references to it. Theologians still debate if it’s  a actually fire; but that is the consistent bible description of it; and it’s reference is DOWN; while Heaven is UP. There is NO possibility of going from one to the other.

Luke 16: 21-31 “ Desiring to be filled with the crumbs that fell from the rich man’ s table, and no one did give him; moreover the dogs came, and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’ s bosom. And the rich man also died: and he was buried in hell. And lifting up his eyes when he was in torments, he saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom: And he cried, and said: Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, to cool my tongue: for I am tormented in this flame.  And Abraham said to him: Son, remember that thou didst receive good things in thy lifetime, and likewise Lazareth evil things, but now he is comforted; and thou art tormented.

[22] Abraham’s bosom: The place of rest, where the souls of the saints resided, till Christ had opened heaven by his death. [Explanation in the Douay Bible]

And besides all this, between us and you, there is fixed a great chaos: so that they who would pass from hence to you, cannot, nor from thence come hither.  And he said: Then, father, I beseech thee, that thou wouldst send him to my father’ s house, for I have five brethren,  That he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torments.  And Abraham said to him: They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. But he said: No, father Abraham: but if one went to them from the dead, they will do penance. [31] And he said to him: If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they believe, if one rise again from the dead.” This is a MORAL STORY, not a literal event. PJM

One has to understand that ALL Salvation flows THROUGH the Catholic Church; because it’s the only Church and Faith actually founded and protected by God Himself. [Mt. 10:1-8; Mt. 16:15-19; John 17:14-20; Mark 16:14-15; Mt. 28:16-20 and Eph. 4:4-8] Therefore those in the CC have a MUCH better change of obtaining their Salvation than those outside the CC. And yes it’s biblical.

[1] There IS only One True God

[2] This One True God can and DOES have only One True set of faith beliefs [biblical, logical and Morally correct]

[3] God desired and did actually and factually start only One Church; today’s Catholic Church.
